Mango Solutions organise the first NewJerseyR meeting

NewJerseyR will be a free informal event, held quarterly and intended to serve as a platform for all local (and regional) R users to present and exchange their experiences and ideas around the usage of R. A typical meeting will consist of 3-4 talks of about 20-25 min to give plenty of room for sharing your R experiences, discussions and exchange of ideas.

MSToolkit: An R Library for Clinical Trial Simulation

Mango are pleased to announce the release of MSToolkit, an R library that facilities the simulation of clinical trials.  Funded by Pfizer Inc, and co-developed by Mango Solutions and Pfizer, MSToolkit is covered by the GNU Public License (GPL).  MSToolkit provides a range of capabilities for the simulation and analysis of clinical trial data, including the ability to simulate and evaluate adaptive trial designs.  For more information, see the MSToolkit home page at http://mstoolkit.r-forge.r-project.org/

Danfeng Wang joins us from Oxford University, Econometrician Alexander Patt comes from Russia via university in Germany and Exeter and Maths & Statistics graduate, Samantha Humphreys, joins us for a six month internship before starting her MSc at Bath University.

Mango sponsor the R User Conference

We are pleased to be sponsoring the R User Conference, useR! 2010 to be held in Maryland, USA from the 21-23 July. We are providing t-shirts for all participants with a competition for the best design. For more information on useR! please go to www.user2010.org. T-Shirt designs should be made using a single colour of your choice. The design should be in the form of a high-resolution (at least 300 dpi) jpeg, png or gif file, and will be printed on a 13'' x 13'' area on the (white) shirt. There are no rules for the content. The winning design will receive 5 free t-shirts plus a book token. You don’t need to be registered for the conference to enter. Entries should be submitted to useRT-Shirt@mango-solutions.com by Sunday June 6th. The winning designer will be notified by June 15th.
